\nJohn Cullberg eftertr\u00e4dde 1940 Einar Billing som biskop i V\u00e4ster\u00e5s stift. Cullberg var en framst\u00e5ende religionsfilosof, kyrkans starkaste r\u00f6st i den offentliga debatten, aktiv i motst\u00e5ndet mot nazismen, grundare av Svenska Kyrkohj\u00e4lpen och f\u00f6rfattare till en l\u00e5ng rad b\u00f6cker. Han var biskop i 22 \u00e5r och l\u00e4mnade m\u00e5nga sp\u00e5r i stiftet. B\u00e5de Stiftsg\u00e5rden och S:t Davidsg\u00e5rden \u00e4r hans verk. John Cullberg var en av 1900-talets stora biskopar, v\u00f6rdad, \u00e4lskad, framsynt och kontroversiell.<\/p>\n
Stiftelsen Sverige och Kristen tro har nu gett ut en stor bok om honom, en antologi som inneh\u00e5ller hans biografi och som i en rad vetenskapliga artiklar belyser hans teologiska t\u00e4nkande, syn p\u00e5 kyrkan, gudstj\u00e4nsten och liturgin, och inte minst hans politiska f\u00f6rh\u00e5llningss\u00e4tt.<\/p>\n
Boken presenteras vid ett seminarium p\u00e5 Stiftsg\u00e5rden den 18 \u2013 19 april 2023<\/strong>. D\u00e4r medverkar flera av bokens f\u00f6rfattare, men \u00e4ven Staffan Cullberg, Margareta Barkevall Lindborg och Anders \u00c5kerlund, som delar med sig av sina minnen.<\/p>\n Alla \u00e4r v\u00e4lkomna.
